First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson invites the community to hear guest pastor Andy Baker this Sunday, June 19, at 10:30 am.
Baker serves at the Nehemiah Center in Managua, Nicaragua, working with pastors as well as designing youth ministry curriculum and creating sermon series.
His wife Andrea, a 1999 Jefferson-Scranton graduate and the daughter of Bill and Martha Monroe of Jefferson, teaches math at the Nicaragua Christian Academy. Their family partners with a local church in the Acahualinca neighborhood feeding children and helping to strengthen families.
A reception to greet the Bakers will follow the worship service.
